I'm Kush — a software engineer who likes hard infrastructure problems and shipping product. I've built distributed services at Microsoft Azure and backend systems at Kinective. Right now my focus is Savitr — a company I'm building from the ground up. When I'm not writing code, I'm usually behind a camera.

About

Engineer first, builder always.

I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Computer Science, but most of what I care about I learned by shipping — at scale, on a deadline, with real users on the other end.

At Microsoft I worked deep in Azure Core Compute and Azure Commerce, building services that cut deployment latency and reshaped how resources get provisioned. Today at Kinective I build banking infrastructure — eSign over SMS, URL shorteners handling tens of thousands of monthly transactions, and database schemas tuned for cost and speed.

These days my biggest focus is Savitr (savitr.dev), the company I'm building from the ground up — two patent-pending platforms in healthcare and logistics. I like the whole arc, from the database schema to the landing page.

Away from the keyboard, photography is my other obsession. I shoot to slow down and pay attention — light, geometry, the moment right before it changes. It's the same instinct as engineering, just with a lens instead of a compiler.

    Mobile Teller Sign

    • Built a mobile eSign product over SMS with Twilio + Azure Functions, driving a 115% improvement in document turnaround for banks and loan cores.
    • Shipped an in-house URL shortener (10-char hash) that lifted backend speed 34% across 10,000+ monthly transactions.
    • Re-architected the CosmosDB schema for elasticity — 28% cost reduction and faster reporting with fewer queries.
