I studied Computer Science at Rutgers and learned the rest by shipping: at Microsoft, Kinective, Amazon and Bloomberg. In October 2026 I left to work on Savitr full time.

Bloomberg was the last stop: splitting a Python 2 identity monolith into Python 3 services for 20,000 internal users. Before that I built an LLM copilot for promotion reviews at Amazon, worked on Azure compute at Microsoft, and shipped banking infrastructure at Kinective in Rahway.

Weekends I shoot South Asian weddings as Shot by Kush, and I post reels about tech, planes and cameras. Otherwise it's training, markets, good food and cars. I love aviation, if you couldn't tell.

    Senior Software Engineer, Contract

    BloombergNew York, NYIdentity & Access Management

    • Cut deployment lead time from 3 weeks to under 2 days by decomposing a legacy Python 2 monolith into 6 deployable Python 3 microservices, shrinking the blast radius of every release.
    • Brought entitlement propagation for 20,000+ internal users from about 12 minutes to under 30 seconds by re-architecting the LDAP and Active Directory sync layer around event-driven reconciliation and idempotent retries.
    • Removed Redis as a single point of failure and drove lock-contention incidents to zero across 6 services with a database-backed distributed lock: lease renewal, fencing tokens, automatic stale-lock reclamation.

    • Built a Bedrock-powered rewrite copilot with retrieval-augmented prompting and safety guardrails, cutting promotion-review cycle time 28% and manager drafting effort 2.8x.
    • Re-architected from Bedrock Flows to a Lambda-first orchestration layer with concurrency controls, fallbacks and circuit breakers: 32% better p95 latency and 18% lower infrastructure cost per 1,000 requests.
    • Shipped a HELM-inspired LLM output evaluator running 6k nightly evals inside the CI/CD release gates, cutting hallucinations 38% and lifting groundedness by 17 points.
    • Designed a Prompt Definition Library (versioned prompts and configs as code, with gating and validation) that cut integration time for new AI use cases 68% across 7 projects.

    • Built a mobile eSign product delivered over SMS with Twilio and Azure Functions, cutting document turnaround for banks and loan cores 53%.
    • Re-architected the Cosmos DB schema for elasticity: 28% lower cost and faster reporting with fewer queries.
    • Built end-to-end usage monitoring and billing on Azure Logic Apps, removing about 20 hours of manual reconciliation and unlocking usage-based pricing.

    • Built an ML-driven pre-provisioning microservice for Azure Compute that learned customer usage patterns and staged resources ahead of demand, cutting deployment latency 94% at P99.
    • Created 30 real-time Azure Monitor dashboards for service-health decisions, and ran point as the team's Scrum Master.
